The Crittenden County girls’ cross country team earned a spot in next week’s state championships with a 3rd-place performance on Saturday at the 1A Region 1 meet at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
Freshman Mary Martinez led the Lady Rockets with a 7th-place 23:49.70, with Elizabeth Campbell running 9th with a time of 24:31.52.
Ella Geary was 15th with a 25:01.42, Karsyn and Presley Potter ran 22nd and 23rd, Leah Long was 29th, and Jayden Duncan finished 31st.
