The Christian County Colonels played their first scrimmage Thursday night at Marshall County.
The Marshals outscored the Colonels 45-29 in four quarters of varsity action, but Christian head coach Toby Miles said his squad competed better in the second half.
The Colonels will have their final scrimmage on Saturday when they face Louisville Valley in action at Campbellsville.
Christian County begins the regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 30, when it hosts Muhlenberg County.
