Emma Talley finished in a tie for 49th place in the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Fla., this week.

Talley was 2-under-par 286 for the 72-hole event, carding rounds of 70, 74, 72 and 70.

Talley made $15,855 for her showing. She finishes the 2021 season on the LPGA Tour with $262,788 in winnings.

Talley’s career earnings are now at $947,734.

Jin Young Ko won the Tour Championship for the second straight year — and the $1.5 million top prize — with a 23-under total. That was one shot better than Nasa Hataoka.

By finishing 61st on the Race to the CME Globe points list this season, Talley keeps her LPGA Tour card for the 2022 season.

The LPGA Tour announced this week that members will compete for $85.7 million in official purses in 2022, the largest total ever presented to the world’s best female golfers, across 34 official events.

  1. That is awesome news. Always rooting for Emma. She has shown moments of brilliance and I am sure her game will continue to improve. Keeping her card was a huge step forward, especially with the added prize money available next year.
