Taylor Guess scored 19 points as Crittenden County’s girls ran past University Heights Academy 60-23 Tuesday night as both teams tipped off the new season in Marion.
The Lady Rockets led 14-6 after one quarter and took a 28-15 lead to halftime.
The margin was 52-30 through three quarters as Crittenden outscored the Lady Blazers 32-8 after the break.
Anna Boone added 11 points for Crittenden.
Alicia Davis led University Heights with 10 points.
The Lady Blazers will visit Hopkins County Central on Thursday.
The Lady Rockets travel to Livingston Central for 5th District action on Friday.
