Daviess County Routs Hickman at WKY Hoops Classic (w/PHOTOS)

Daviess County’s girls picked up their fourth straight win, routing Hickman County 73-26 Tuesday as part of the West Kentucky Hoops Classic at Caldwell County High School.

Hickman (2-6) tried to hang close early, but Daviess (8-4) opened up a 26-10 lead after one quarter.

By halftime, the Lady Panthers had opened up a 46-15 lead and coasted to the 47-point triumph.

Adylan Ayer had 17 points for Daviess on 7 of 9 shooting from the floor. She made three of her four 3-point attempts.

Katie Mewes and Lily Hoagland each had 13 points for the Lady Panthers.

Zoey Beehn was selected the Player of the Game for the Lady Panthers after getting 12 points and six rebounds.

Rancey Skaggs led Hickman with eight points. Bayleigh Basch was the Player of the Game for the Lady Falcons with seven points, two rebounds and two steals.

Daviess won both of its games in the West Kentucky Hoops Classic.
