Todd County Central senior Samantha Case will be taking the field for the Lady Rebels in the spring, but she already knows where she’ll be playing when she heads off to college next fall.
Case put pen to paper in front of teammates and family on Wednesday in a signing ceremony at the school to make her choice of the University of Pikeville official.
The Lady Bears compete at the NAIA level in the Mid-South Conference and posted a record of 14-31 last season.
Case led the Lady Rebels in every offensive category as a junior, hitting .505 with 46 hits, 34 runs, 37 RBI, 14 doubles, and seven home runs. She was also 12/12 in stolen bases and only struck out twice all season.
