Caldwell County’s girls knew they were facing a difficult week with games against Madisonville-North Hopkins, Crittenden County and Hopkins County Central on the docket.
Things looked even worse when the Lady Tigers struggled in a 67-28 loss at Madisonville on Monday.
But Caldwell’s girls bounced back Tuesday to upset Crittenden County 52-50.
Parris Gray’s 3-pointer tied the game at 50-50 with 55 seconds to play. Caldwell then won the game on Katy Smiley’s bucket at the buzzer.
YSE spoke with Gray following the contest in Princeton.
