Rebels End Skid With Win Over Warren East

Heading into back-to-back district matchups with the Russellville Panthers, the Todd County Central Lady Rebels put an end to their brief two-game losing streak Tuesday night. The Rebels came from behind in the fourth quarter to pick up a road win at Warren East.

The Rebels got off to a good start against the Raiders. With TrayVon Foster and Preston Moore leading the way, the Rebels took a 16-12 lead after the opening quarter. Warren East battled back in the second to take a 27-23 lead at the break. The Raiders limited the Rebels to just three made field goals in the second.

The two teams went back and forth as the third quarter got underway. The Raiders would end up leading 39-36 going into the final quarter.

The Rebels would then turn the tables on the Raiders over the final eight minutes. Todd County Central held Warren East to just two field goals in the fourth as the Rebels came back to take the 51-48 win. TrayVon Foster hit two big threes during the Rebels’ rally to the victory.

Foster led the Rebels with 13 points. Preston Moore and Jamison Glass added ten points each.

Isaiah Andrews scored 19 points for the Raiders. Kaleb Matlock finished with 12 points.

With the win, the Rebels improve to 17-6 for the year. Warren East drops to 9-11.
