Madisonville-North Hopkins coach Chandy Melton was named the boys’ region coach of the year following Sunday’s Region I Swim Meet in Hopkinsville.
The Maroons finished as region runner-up to Murray – the seventh straight year the Maroons have finished first or second at region.
Voting is conducted by the region’s coaches.
