Hopkinsville senior Emmanuel Cheatham excelled on both sides of the ball for the Tiger football team in 2021, and now he’ll take that versatility to Murray State University after signing with the Racers on Thursday.
Cheatham enjoyed a breakout senior season with 48 carries for 305 yards and five touchdowns and 22 catches for a score and 333 yards. He made his mark on the defensive side as well, making 46 tackles with two interceptions and 110 return yards with a TD.
He joins a Racer squad that finished 6-5 and 4th in the Ohio Valley Conference in 2021.
