Hopkinsville senior quarterback Treyvon Jefferson is making the jump to the next level after signing on Thursday to continue his career at Murray State University.
Jefferson helped the Tigers reach the state 4A semifinals as a junior before throwing for 1,692 yards with 15 touchdowns and three interceptions as a senior. He also rushed for 318 yards and seven scores on the way to a 7-5 campaign that ended with a loss to Logan County in the second round of the playoffs.
The Racers finished 6-5 in 2021 and finished 4th in the Ohio Valley Conference.
