SPOTLIGHT ATHLETE – Alexsa Hoffman

If you look at a Fort Campbell High School athletic roster, there’s a good chance you will see Alexsa Hoffman’s name on it.

The junior competes in two fall sports, a winter sport, and two spring sports for the Lady Falcons.  And she does it all while juggling a job as a lifeguard on post and maintaining a 3.5 GPA.

Golf and volleyball are the fall sports of choice for Alexsa with a past endeavor in cross country.

She competed with her Lady Falcon teammates in the pool at last week’s region swim meet where Fort Campbell brought home a program-best third place finish. She finished no worse than sixth in any of the four events in which she swam, including a fifth place finish in the 100-yard butterfly and a fourth place result in the 200-yard medley relay.

With her swimming season in the rearview mirror, Hoffman now focuses on the upcoming softball season. And there may be some track and field in there too.  And like a shampoo bottle, she’ll lather, rinse, and repeat for her senior year in 2022-23.

If you show up to a Fort Campbell sporting event that Alexsa plays in, just look for the small-in stature athlete with the big smile and rooting on her teammates. And it’s there, you will have found Alexsa Hoffman.
