
Heritage Christian Academy opened its 2022 archery season with a seventh place finish at the Trigg County Arrowcat Classic in Cadiz Saturday.
Eighth-grader Bryce Light had the top score of the day for the Warriors with a 262. Weston Shearin, only a fourth-grader, shot a 240 to finish second among all elementary shooters and 55th among all shooters.
Cole Cansler shot a 236 to finish in 41st place, and Jake Bottoms carded to 220 to finish in 44th place.
Kate Smith had the top girls’ score for Heritage with a 256, which ranked her ninth among middle school shooters and 49th overall. Bryleigh Tolbert shot at 215 to finish 72nd, and MacKenzie McCarty shot a 210 to finish in 38th place.
