He has been a two-sport standout at Hopkinsville High School and now he gets his turn in the “spotlight.” Senior K.C. Cabiness has been a big part of the success of the football and basketball teams at Hoptown during his high school career.
In the just completed 2021-2022 regular season, he averaged 12.6 points per game and was the Tigers’ leading rebounder with 8.6 boards per contest.
During his senior season on the football field, K.C. Caught 14 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown as the Tigers reached the second round of the Class 4A playoffs.
While his exploits on the field and on the court are well known, we get a chance now to learn more about this young man in this week’s “Spotlight Athlete.”
