McCracken County sophomore Kaleb Suitor, the Region I swimmer of the year, had a pair of top-10 finishes Friday at the KHSAA State Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Kentucky.
Suitor finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke and seventh in the 100-yard butterfly.
Suitor also swam on the 200-yard freestyle relay team with Ian Ballard, Corbin Knight, and Brandon Dowd and finished in 30th place.
Ballard, Knight, Suitor, and Jake Stephens finished in 28th place in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Ballard also finished 40th in the 50-yard freestyle.
With Suitor’s points in two, McCracken County finished in 22nd place with 24 points.
