Former Dawson Springs High School standout Dylan Simpson claimed gold for Midway University on Saturday at the River States Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship.
Simpson, a senior, won the RSC Indoor High Jump championship at the Chieftain Center in Logan, Ohio. He recorded a jump of 1.90 meters.
Simpson also won the high jump last year at the RSC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Midway University is an NAIA institution located in Midway, between Frankfort and Lexington.
