Despite a pair of losses during the regular season, Hopkins County Central felt confident about its matchup with Caldwell County Tuesday night in the boys’ 7th District tournament semifinals in Princeton.
Down 12 in the first half, the Storm rallied for a 79-68 victory and a berth in both Friday’s district championship game and next week’s 2nd Region tournament.
YSE spoke with Hopkins Central head coach Michael Fraliex, who played at Caldwell County and is still second on the school’s all-time scoring list, following Tuesday’s game.
