The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons overcame a 28-21 third-quarter deficit to knock off Hopkins County Central 45-37 for the 7th District championship Thursday night in Princeton.
The Lady Storm was the defending district champion after beating Madisonville in the finale last season.
Both teams advance to the 2nd Region tournament next week.
