Former Lyon County Lyon standout Gabe Board is the Mid-South Conference Baseball Player of the Week, as announced by that conference on Monday.
Board is a sophomore infielder at Lindsey Wilson College.
He batted .571 last week with four doubles, four RBIs and five runs scored in three games for the Blue Raiders.
Board had three multi-hit games to help the Blue Raiders to a 2-1 Mid-South Conference series win over Pikeville last week.
Lindsey Wilson is 11-4 this season. The Blue Raiders next host Indiana University Southeast on Wednesday afternoon.
