Emma Talley is back in action on the LPGA Tour this week.

The former Caldwell County High School standout and University of Alabama star is in the field for the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore.

That tournament is a no-cut event, meaning all 65 entrants will make money. It is a 72-hole, stroke-play event, which gets underway Thursday on the Malaysian Peninsula. That’s actually Wednesday night here in the states because of the 14-hour time difference.

Talley has a 9:35 a.m. first round tee time in Singapore. That is 7:35 p.m. Wednesday night Central Standard Time.

Talley’s playing partners in the first round are Yu Liu of Beijing, China, and Chella Choi of Seoul, Republic of Korea.

That group will start off the No. 10 tee in the first round at the Sentosa Golf Club.

The HSBC Women’s World Championship has a $1.7 million purse.
