Jaci Babbs came out of Union County High School as a big fish in a small pond. Now a senior outfielder at the University of Kentucky, Babbs has successfully made the adjustment to being a smaller fish in a much bigger pond.
Babbs is batting .333 in a reserve role for the Wildcats and has helped Kentucky get out of the gate with a 16-2 record. Once her playing career is finished, Babbs said she will stay in Lexington and work with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
