Lady Blazers Finish in 11th at State Indoor Meet

The UHA girls’ track and field team finished in 11th place Saturday at the Class A Indoor State Track and Field Championships in Louisville.

The Lady Blazers had five individual performances land in the top ten for the day.

LADY BLAZER RESULTS

Kendall Hancock – 4th in the 400-meter run (1:07.27)

Jaila Batey – 6th in the shot put (27-02)

DeAijah Tullis – 6th in the high jump (4-08); 11th in the triple jump (28-04); 18th in the long jump (10-02.50); 22nd In the 60-meter dash (9.37)

Audrey Grise – 9th in the 60-meter hurdles (11.52); 13th in the triple jump (27-01.50)

Emma Dill – 10th in the 60-meter hurdles (11.56)

Piper Hancock – 11th in the 200-meter run (1:08.85)

Maddie Martin – 14th in the high jump (4-00)

Aliviah Acree – 17th in the long jump (10-06); 20th in the 200-meter dash (31.35); 21st in the 60-meter dash (9.30)

Lucy Wilkins – 20th in the 1500-meter run (6:25.38); 22nd in the 800-meter run (3:02.61)

The 3200-meter relay team of Audrey Grise, Piper Hancock, Kendall Hancock, and Lucy Wilkins finished in third place in 11:16.42.
