Caldwell County opened the season with a 4-0 loss at University Heights Academy on Monday, but came back Tuesday to battle Union County to extra innings before falling 3-2.
The Tigers finally got over the hump on Thursday, overcoming an early 1-0 deficit to beat Livingston Central 4-1.
