The boys’ track team at University Heights Academy had a strong showing at the Henderson County Classic Saturday.
Connor Dill had a pair of first place finishes in the hurdle events, finishing ahead of defending Class 2A champion Trystan Wright of Calloway County.
Sam Cotthoff also had a first place finish in the shot put.
As a team, UHA finished in 5th place out of 12 teams. They totaled 71.5 points to finish 4.5 points behind region rival Fort Campbell for fourth place.

The 1600-meter relay team of Connor Dill; Mason Price; Walter Kunnmann, and Trey Wyatt finished in third place in 3:49.8.
The 3200-meter relay team of Ray Farmer, Walter Kunnmann, Chase Hendricks, and Cole Glover finished third in 9:24.9.
The 800-meter relay team of Clayton Lester; Trey Wyatt; Griffin McCoy; and Luke Shouse finished in 7th place in 1:43.9.
