Fort Campbell Takes 4th in Rain and Cold at Henderson County

Fort Campbell’s track and field team got off to a strong start Saturday with a fourth place finish at the Henderson County Classic. The Falcons scored 57 points to finish seven points behind third place Owensboro.

FORT CAMPBELL RESULTS

Amari Waddy – 1st in the high jump (5-08); 3rd in the triple jump (35-03); 12th in the 800-meter run (2:33.8)

William Lubas – 3rd in the 3200-meter run (10:38.5); 6th in the 1600-meter run (4:56.2)

Xezavie Westbrook – 3rd in the high jump (5-06)

Patrick Hayes – 3rd in the pole vault (8-00); 5th in the long jump (17-05.75)

John Montalvo – 4th in the triple jump (34-05); 5th in the 110-meter hurdles (18.9)

Lyndell Smith – 5th in the discus throw (106-08); 11th in the shot put (34-03)

Samuel Palenzeuela – 6th in the pole vault (6-0)

Darrion Hutson – 7th in the 110-meter hurdles (19.4); 9th in the 300-meter hurdles (54.3)

Niklas Sujanani – 7th in the 100-meter dash (12.3)

Joshua Blanton – 7th in the 3200-meter run (11:51.5)

Mateo Cerritos Gatto – 9th in the long jump (16-07.75)

Seth Puraty – 11th in the 300-meter hurdles (1:00)

Logan Sharp – 12th in the 200-meter dash (25.7)

Keshawn Dixon – 16th in the shot put (29-05)

Ian Rasario – 17th in the 400-meter dash (1:07.03)

Cruzy Cruz – 18th in the 100-meter dash (12.9)

Samuel Atoubi – 19th in the 400-meter dash (1:09.7)

Juan Solis – 20th in the discus throw (62-01)

The 3200-meter relay team of Amari Waddy, William Lubas, Joshua Blanton, and Seth Puraty came in second place with a time of 9:22.3.

The 400-meter relay team of Mateo Cerritos Gatto, Leon King, Cruzy Cruz, and Niklas Sujanani finished in seventh place in a time of 48.3 seconds.

The same foursome came in fifth in 1:40.2 in the 800-meter relay team.

The 1600-meter relay team of Samuel Atoubi, Caleb Fogle, Ian Rosario, and Logan Sharp finished in eighth place in 4:20.1.
