Caldwell County’s girls swept three doubles matches from Hopkins County Central to win Friday’s team match in Princeton 6-3.
The teams had split six singles matches.
Singles results at the CCHS tennis courts were:
Chloe Mackey (HCC) defeated Josie Shaffer 6-1, 6-2;
Rachel McClung (CC) def. Mia Collins 8-0;
Keegan Miller (CC) def. Katherine Keown 8-1;
Avery Ritchey (CC) def. Rachel Williams 8-0;
Emma Killough (HCC) def. Ella Johnson 8-4;
Elissa Adams (HCC) def. Meleah Greenfield 8-2.
In doubles:
McClung/Miller (CC) def. Mackey/Collins 6-1, 7-5;
Shaffer/Ritchey (CC) def. Keown/Killough 8-2;
Lakhia Matchem/Johnson (CC) def. Mackey/Rickard 9-7.
Caldwell’s tennis team will be on the road next week with trips to University Heights Academy, Henderson County and Mayfield on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
