While it was cold and blustery, it was nevertheless a good day on the golf course Saturday for Claire Knoth. Knoth picked up a three-shot win in the Girls’ 15-18 division as the Bluegrass Golf tour got its 2022 season up and running with an event at the Calvert City Golf & Country Club.
Knoth shot a seven over par 79 for the day, which was three shots better than Madison Glisson. Ellie Roof, of Paducah, took 3rd place with an 86.
She shot a 38 on the front nine and then finished out with a 41 on the back side. Knoth had birdies on the 1st and 10th holes.
