Trigg Opens Track and Field Season at Marshall County

Trigg County opened its 2022 track and field season at one of the largest events that will be run in western Kentucky this year.  The Wildcats were one of 25 schools that competed at the 26th annual Invitational of the South Saturday at Marshall County High School.

WILDCAT RESULTS

Timmy Cannon – 13th in the 3200-meter run (11:44.55)

Peyton Williams – 14th in the 200-meter dash (25.46)

Marshall Jenkins – 17th in the 1600-meter run (5:16.50)

River Oliver – 17th in the 200-meter dash (25.59); 31st in the 400-meter run (1:00.7)

Jack Lingenfelter – 19th in the 800-meter run (2:25.23)

Joseph Crawford – 19th in the triple jump (32-04); 35th in the long jump (16-00)

Matthew Reeves – 41st in the 400-meter dash (1:04.11)

Mac Alexander – 52nd in the shot put (25-08.50); 52nd in the discus throw (67-10)

Ethan Curling – 57th in the shot put (21-01); 59th in the discus throw (46-07)

The 3200-meter relay team came in ninth place with a time of 9:33.09.

The 1600-meter relay team finished in 15th place in a time of 4:06.26.
