
Hopkinsville High had a strong showing Saturday at the Invitational of the South at Marshall County High School.
The Lady Tigers had strong showings in the jumping, throwing, and distance events to finish in sixth place out of 23 teams. Hoptown had 56 points, which was 8.5 points behind Paducah Tilghman.

The 400-meter relay team finished 11th place in a time of 1:00.92.
The 800-meter relay team also finished 11th in 2:06.22. The 1600-meter relay team brought home an 11th place finish in 5:05.03.
