Lady Blazers Take 11th at Marshall County

The UHA Lady Blazer track and field team took 11^th place Saturday at the Invitational of the South at Marshall County. The 26^th annual event featured 25 schools and was the largest held in western Kentucky since the Covid shut down two years ago.

LADY BLAZER RESULTS

Emma Dill – 2^nd in the 300-meter hurdles (55.17); 9^th in the 100-meter hurdles (20.67);

Piper Hancock – 4^th in the 400-meter dash (1:06.12)

Lucy Wilkins – 4^th in the 3200-meter run (14:47.86); 15^th in the 1600-meter run (6:55.83); 18^th in the 800-meter run (3:03.42)

DeAijah Tullis – 8^th in the high jump (4-06); 22^nd in the long jump (13-01); 12^th in the triple jump (28-00)

Jaila Batey – 15^th in the shot put (28-04); 19^th in the discus throw (71-10)

Aliviah Acree – 16^th in the 200-meter dash (30.81); 16^th in the 400-meter run (1:11.71)

Ragen Pollard – 17^th in the discus throw (73-02); 21^st in the shot put (26-07.50)

Maddie Martin – 23^rd in the long jump (12-07.25)

The 800-meter relay team finished in fifth place in a time of 1:59.99.

The 1600-meter relay team came in seventh place in 4:51.47.
