
Caldwell County’s Carter Whittington broke a 3-3 tie with Dawson Springs with a two-run single into center, and the Tigers went on to beat the Panthers 13-3 Tuesday in Princeton.
After Whittington untied the game, the Tigers went on to score seven times in the bottom of the fourth inning to take control of the contest 10-3.
Caldwell ended the game with three more runs in the bottom of the sixth to reach the 10-run mercy rule.
