After excelling in the trenches as a senior for the Hopkinsville Tigers, Lucas Hughes signed on Thursday to continue his football career at Missouri Baptist University.
Hughes played in all twelve games last season for the Tigers, earning All-WKC recognition and taking home the Mike McGee award at Hopkinsville’s annual awards banquet.
Missouri Baptist is located in St. Louis and competes in the American Midwest Conference at the NAIA level. The Spartans are coming off 4-7 season in 2021.
