
Caldwell County High School’s Jabrion Spikes will play in the Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Basketball Game next Saturday, April 9, at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, near Cincinnati.
Spikes led the 2nd Region in both scoring and rebounding this past season at 30.7 points and 11.9 boards a contest.
He was named 2nd Region Player of the Year by coaches and was a Kentucky Mr. Basketball Finalist.
Earlier this week, Spikes was selected Second Team All-State on the Lexington Herald-Leader’s All-State Teams.
The senior is still undecided on a college home.
Spikes finished his high school basketball career at No. 6 on the Tigers’ all-time scoring list with 1,434 career points.
He is 10th on Caldwell’s career rebounding list with 537 career boards.
The Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Basketball Game will celebrate its 29th year anniversary in the upcoming April 2022 Game.
The girls’ game is set for 5 p.m. Eastern time, with the boys’ contest to follow at 7 p.m.
The boys’ series stands with Ohio winning 18 games and Kentucky winning 10. However, for the girls’ series, Kentucky holds a slight lead, 15-12.
