Hoptown Bags Ninth Place Finish at Calloway County

Hopkinsville brought home a ninth place finish Saturday at the Calloway County Laker Track and Field Invitational.

As a team, Hopkinsville finished in ninth place with 20 points.

Kemaure Mumford – 1st in the discus throw (125-2); 12TH in the long jump (18-8.5)

Sam Kanu – 3rd in the high jump (5-8)

Elijah Reid – 10th in the 300-meter hurdles (49.26); 12th in the 110-meter hurdles (21.41)

Davian Simon – 10th in the discus throw (94-0); 21st in the shot put (25-0)

Miciah Brown – 11th in the 110-meter hurdles (19.98)

Devin Coleman – 13th in the discus throw (91-0); 13th in the shot put (31-6.25)

Alden Marshall – 15th in the shot put (29-1)

Brandon Combs – 17th in the 200-meter dash (25.56); 20th in the 100-meter dash (12.49)

DeAvery Ramey – 17th in the 400-meter dash (58.79)

Savior Schaal – 19th in the 1600-meter run (5:33.80)

Jerel Lee – 21st in the long jump (16-3.50)

Tahj Jones – 22nd in the 100-meter dash (12.57); 24th in the 200-meter dash (26.54)

Floyd Key – 24th in the 400-meter dash (1:01.01)

Joseph Gray – 28th in the 200-meter dash (29.81)

The 3200-meter relay team was seventh with a time of 11:05.09.

Both the 1600-meter relay team (3:38.94) and the 800-meter relay team (1:42.71) finished in eighth place.

The 400-meter relay team was ninth in 49.04 seconds.
