
The Christian County Lady Colonels finished in eighth place Saturday at the Calloway County Laker Track and Field Invitational.
The Lady Colonels brought home a pair of first place finishes. Jayda Johnson ran to first place in the 400-meter dash.
Autumn Bell took first place in the triple jump, just missing Martajia Armstrong’s nine-year-old school record by one inch.
As a team, Christian County finished in eighth place with 36 points.

Autumn Bell – 1st in the triple jump (35-8.50); 5th in the 100-meter dash (13.37)
Julia Munoz – 10th in the long jump (14-0.25); 16th in the 200-meter dash (31.21)
Shaely Thibodeaux – 11th in the 100-meter hurdles (20.99)
Jakiyah Oatts – 11th in the 400-meter dash (1:10.78)
Jazmyn Rodriguez – 12th in the 200-meter dash (30.01); 17th in the 100-meter dash (14.37)
London Hendrith – 14th in the 100-meter dash (14.10)
Ashia Rogers – 15th in the long jump (13-0.50)
The 400-meter relay team finished in fifth place in a time of 55.10
The 800-meter relay team also finished in fifth place, crossing the line in 1:58.20.
The 1600-meter relay team brought home a fifth-place finish in 4:56.20.
