Caldwell County’s Jabrion Spikes was one of two players to score in double figures Saturday night as the Kentucky All-Stars defeated their Ohio counterparts 85-84 in overtime.

Spikes finished with 11 points in the All-Star Basketball Game, which was played at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, near Cincinnati.

Bowling Green’s Turner Buttry, recently crowned Kentucky Mr. Basketball, had 13 points and was named Most Valuable Player for the Kentucky team.

The Kentucky All-Stars trailed by double digits in the second half before coming back to force overtime.

In the girls’ game on Saturday, Ohio claimed a 99-84 victory.

Spikes is still uncommitted as to where he will play college basketball.

He did pick up an offer from Georgetown College last week. Another former Caldwell standout, Derrin Boyd, has been with the Georgetown program the last three years.
