Prudes Are No Fun But Caldwell Prevails 7-3 (w/PHOTOS)

The Prudes spoiled an otherwise perfect day for the Caldwell County Tiger tennis team.

Abel Prude and Micah Prude of the Paducah Home School team won their singles matches and teamed for a doubles win Thursday in Princeton. However, the rest of competition belonged to the Tigers.

Caldwell’s guys claimed a 7-3 victory at the CCHS tennis courts.

In singles:
Abel Prude (PHS) defeated Ryan Hammett 6-0, 6-0;
Micah Prude (PHS) def. Grayden Miller 8-0;
Billy Wallace (CC) def. Noah French 8-2;
Nick Adams (CC) def. Henry Arterburn 9-8 (7-1);
Bryce Thompson (CC) def. Yohannes Wilson 8-0;
Cannon Littlejohn (CC) def. Gideon McComb 8-0;
Cason Littlejohn (CC) def. Andrew Kayler 8-0.

In doubles:
Prude/Prude def. Wallace/Miller 8-0;
Hammett/Adams def. French/Arterburn 8-0;
Cannon Littlejohn/Noah Bailey def. Wilson/Kayler 8-0.

The Caldwell tennis team is in action again on Monday when it plays at Madisonville-North Hopkins.
