With the game tied 1-1 in the bottom of the third inning, Lyon County head coach Ricky Baker gave slugger Jackson Shoulders the green light on a 3-0 pitch.
Despite a stiff wind blowing in from left field, Shoulders still pounded the next pitch deep over the fence in left for a two-run home run.
Lyon never trailed again, holding on to defeat Caldwell County 4-3 in a semifinal game in the 2nd Region All A Classic.
