University Heights Academy had three individual first place finishes and scored another school record at Saturday’s Coach J Invitational hosted by Fort Campbell High School.
Griffin McCoy, who set a new school record in the triple jump last week, added an inch-and-a-half to that mark with a leap of 39-feet, 5.5 inches which translated into a 7th place finish in the loaded field.
Connor Dill swept the hurdle events again for the Blazers, just missing breaking his own school records by less than a second in each event.
As a team, UHA finished in ninth place out of 16 schools with 44 points as eight points separated fifth through ninth place.
