
The Caldwell County boys’ tennis team pulled out a close win at Madisonville-North Hopkins Monday night.
The teams split six singles matches, but the Tigers took two of the three doubles tilts to leave Madisonville with a 5-4 victory.
In singles play:
Ryan Hammett (CC) defeated Nathaniel Crick 6-4, 7-5;
Aidan Brummer (MN) def. Billy Wallace 8-3;
Eli Dunn (MN) def. Nick Adams 8-3;
Grayden Miller (CC) def. Braden Bell 9-8 (7-3);
Lukas Ramey (MN) def. Bryce Thompson 9-7;
Cason Littlejohn (CC) def. Jeff Lutz 8-3.
In doubles:
Crick/Brummer (MN) def. Wallace/Miller 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 10-7
Hammett/Adams (CC) def. Dunn/Bell 8-6;
Thompson/Littlejohn (CC) def. Ramey/Lutz 8-6.
Caldwell has a home makeup date against Union County on Tuesday at the CCHS tennis courts.
