Zach Moss went deep twice and Landon Cook allowed a single hit over four innings to lead the Hopkinsville Tigers to an 11-0 victory over visiting Fort Campbell on Monday.
The Tigers win their second straight to improve to 5-8 in a game scheduled to be played at Fort Campbell but moved to Tiger Field due to field conditions on post. Hoptown evens its district mark at 1-1 while Fort Campbell slips to 1-13, 0-3 against district competition.

Moss’ two-out homer in the top of the 1st put the Tigers on top, and they tacked on a pair of runs in their next at-bat to lead 3-0.
An eight-run 4th did the rest of the damage for Hopkinsville. Preston Chaudoin doubled in a run ahead of Moss’ second long ball of the game to stretch the advantage to 7-0. Cook, Lucas Kaetzel, and Chaudoin added RBI singles for the final margin.
Cook earned the win, allowing one hit with no walks and eight strikeouts over four frames. Mason Spain pitched the 5th, striking out a pair to finish the shutout.
Chaudoin drove in four runs, Moss had three RBI, and Jacob Dilday and Cook finished with two hits.
Angel Garcia took the loss for the Falcons, surrendering 11 runs, eight earned, on eight hits with three walks and a strikeout. Ethan Egner came on in relief, scattering four hits and striking out three in two shutout frames.
