Caldwell County senior Jabrion Spikes has picked up another all-state basketball honor.
On Monday, Spikes was named Second Team All-State by the Louisville Courier-Journal.
Earlier, Spikes was selected Second Team on the Lexington Herald-Leader’s All-State Teams.
Spikes led the 2nd Region in both scoring and rebounding this past season at 30.7 points and 11.9 boards a contest.
That helped Caldwell go 18-11 this season.
He was named 2nd Region Player of the Year by coaches and was a Kentucky Mr. Basketball Finalist.
Spikes was also selected for the Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game, scoring 11 points as Kentucky prevailed in overtime.
The senior is still undecided on a college home. His growing list of offers include Georgetown College, Campbellsville and Kentucky Christian.
Spikes finished his high school basketball career at No. 6 on the Tigers’ all-time scoring list with 1,434 points.
He is 10th on Caldwell’s career rebounding list with 537 boards.
The Courier-Journal All-State Teams are voted on by coaches from across the state.
