
Madisonville-North Hopkins High School freshman Addie Burns finished in 77th place Tuesday at the KHSAA Girls’ State Archery Tournament in Bowling Green.
Burns was one of 12 shooters to card a 279 on the afternoon. She qualified for the state tourney by equaling her career-high score of 285 at the region meet.
Meanwhile, Webster County’s Avery Guill finished in 123rd place with a score of 274. However, the eighth-grader had the 19th best score for a middle schooler.
Henderson County finished in 15th place as a team with Olivia Stone shooting a 282 to finish in 41st place.
