With the bases loaded and two outs in a scoreless game, Christian County’s Josh Snorton didn’t wait long to make his move.
Snorton sent the first pitch he saw in the third inning over the centerfield fence for a grand slam, starting the Colonels on the way to a 10-0 victory at Lyon County on Saturday.
Christian then drove from Eddyville to the Trigg Rec Complex, where the Colonels beat Trigg County 19-9 to finish a busy day.
Snorton was 2-for-3 with five runs batted in against Lyon County.
YSE caught up with the Christian County senior following the game in Eddyville.
