Caldwell’s Girls Finish 7th at Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays

Caldwell County’s girls finished seventh in action Friday at the Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays at Marshall County High School.

The Lady Tigers were third in the 4×100-meter freshman relay in 59.52 seconds.

Caldwell was fifth in the 4×100 relay for throwers in 1:08.85.

The Lady Tigers placed seventh in the 4×100 varsity relay in 56.49 seconds.

The 4×400 relay squad was fifth in 4:52.11.

The 4×800 relay group finished fifth in 11:40.61.

The 4×200 relay team was sixth in 1:57.78.

Caldwell placed fifth in the 800 sprint medley in 2:02.95.

The Lady Tigers were also fifth in the distance medley in 15:06.67.

Jordan Ortt finished eighth in the triple jump at 27 feet, 2.5 inches.

Avery Wells was ninth in the long jump at 15 feet, 8.25 inches.

Marion (Ill.) won the girls’ team title with 128 points while Henderson County took second with 113.

Host Marshall County was third with 95, followed by Herrin (Ill,) (69.5) and Centralia (Ill.) (69.5), Hopkinsville (51.5) and then Caldwell (40).

Murray finished with eighth with 35.5 points, then Graves County (28), Crittenden County (10) and Livingston Central (2).
