Three straight rounds of even-par were good enough for Lyon County High School junior Cathryn Brown to finish tied for third at the American Junior Golf Association stop at the Canebrake Club in Athens, Alabama over the weekend.
Brown’s first round included a one-under-par 35 on the front nine and three birdies for the round. Saturday, she shot a one-under-par 35 on the back nine with that round also including three birdies.
On Sunday, she once again shot a one-under-par 35 on the back nine. Her three-day total of 216 was four shots behind the winter.
