A former Lyon County baseball standout has been recognized for his play on the collegiate level this season. Officials with the Mid-South Conference announced their end of the season honors Thursday morning.
Lindsey Wilson College’s Gabe Board was named to the 2nd Team All-Conference. The Lyon County native finished the regular season batting .433, going 61 of 141 in 33 games for the Raiders.
Board had 15 doubles, one triple, and four home runs, driving in 34 runs. He also had seven stolen bases in the regular season and scored 39 runs.
Lindsey Wilson is set to start play in the conference tournament Thursday evening against Bethel University.
