Lady Falcons Double Up Fort Knox 20-10

The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons have now won back-to-back games for the first time this season. The Lady Falcons lit the scoreboard up for 20 runs in a 20-10 home field win over Fort Knox Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Falcons scored in every inning, as they rapped out 12 hits in picking up the win. Fort Campbell scored three in the first, one in the second, seven in the third, three more in the fourth, and then closed it out with six runs in the bottom of the firth.

The Lady Eagles were productive as well, scoring in every inning but the first.

In addition to 12 hits, Fort Campbell took full advantage of five walks and eight hit batters in the contest.

Jordan Wilkerson led the way for Fort Campbell, going 3-4 with 3 RBIs. Hope Balzeski, Nadiz Velez, and Kiley McCrary added two hits each. Balzeski also had two RBIs.

The Lady Falcons improve to 4-9 with the win. They return to action Monday night when they host Hopkinsville.
