Brody Williams was 3-for-3 with a double and two runs batted in during Lyon County’s 5-3 victory over Hazard at the All A Classic state tournament on Saturday.
He also just missed a home run early in the game, when his blast down the left-field line cleared the fence at the 335 mark, but was just outside the foul pole.
The Lyons will face Pikeville in the state semifinals early Sunday morning in Richmond.
YSE caught up with Williams following Saturday’s win against Hazard.
