It took 22 years for Fort Campbell to pry away the Sisters in Arms trophy from Fort Knox in 2021. Over the weekend, the Lady Falcons beat Fort Knox 20-10 to keep the trophy on post for the second straight year.
Hope Balzeski, the only senior on the Fort Campbell roster, said the rare return of players to the Fort Campbell team is the main reason why the trophy also returned to the home of the 101st Airborne Division.
